RACHEL SHARPE

Rachel Sharpe is a Los Angeles based painter born in Seattle, Washington. Sharpe danced ballet professionally starting at the age of eleven and attended The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. Her detailed oil paintings often feature dramatic chiaroscuro lighting and cropped in compositions with an emphasis on corporeal and tactile textural elements.
